Why Should We Hire You? (For Experienced Candidate)

I believe you should hire me for the three main reasons.

The first reason is, I believe I have the skills, the qualities on the experience, that are a match for the job description and the person specification, now i believe that’s important because I can then come into your organization and your team start contributing in a positive manner and make a difference quickly, so I need little supervision by the experience to come in, to do a job properly, start contributing to the team goals.

The second reason is I’m a very positive and enthusiastic and motivated person and have researched your organization. I believe you to have ambitious plans for the future and you are highly enthusiastic about what the future lies, and I believe that being able to come into your organization, work with you on your different projects and tasks. I will be able to help you achieve your commercial and financial goals.

The final reason is I will be a positive role model for your company. When dealing with clients, I will be great when working as part of the team. I’m somebody who is very loyal and very honest, and I will always act with high degrees of integrity and those are the three reasons why I believe you should hire me. 

Before I give you the exact scripts to use when answering this tough interview question. Here are 3 really important tips. 

Tip #1 This is your opportunity to sell yourself at the interview, so you need to be positive in your onset and also remember to talk about how you will benefits their company, this is not about you getting the job, this is about then hiring the right person, So when they say to you, why should we hire you?  Always be positive but focus on how you will benefit that company. 

Tip#2 All the other candidates will give just one reason why the company should hire them but you’re going to be different, you are going to give three reasons, because this enables you to stand out from the competition. 

Tip #3 Three really good reasons to give why they should hire you? are as follows.

  • The fact that you have the skills, the qualities of the experience to match the job description. 
  • How you are going to get up and running in the role quickly. 
  • How you will always be a positive role model for that company.

So let me now give you a brilliant onset to use when answering the interview question. Why should we hire you? And then I will give you another onset for those people who are reading that have no previous work experience

So here is my first onset to the interview question. Why should we hire you? 

You should hire me for three main reasons.  

Reason #1. I have the skills, the qualities and the experience that are a match for the job description now. This means I will be able to come into your organization to make an immediate positive difference. 

Reason #2. I will get up and running in the role quickly. This means you won’t need to spend your valuable time training me up for weeks on end. Once I am up and running in the role. I will need little supervision.

Reason #3. Why should you hire me? Is it because I will always be a positive role model for your company whilst dealing with your clients and your customers.

What if this is my first job and I have no experience. Let me give you 3 important tips for answering. Why should we hire you with no experience and I will then give you an example onset.

Tip #1 Use the fact that you have no experience to your advantage.If this is your first job, you are effectively a blank canvas and they can train you up and develop you into the perfect employee. 

Tip #2 Tell them you understand how important it is that you work hard, that you contribute to the team goals and that you focus on their business goals in all work you undertake for them. 

Tip #3 Explain how you have ambitious plans for the future, and the only way you will achieve your goals is to get a good employment history behind you.

5 Things You Should Never Say During A Job Interview

Today I want to talk to you about things that you shouldn’t say in a job interview, specifically five things that you shouldn’t say bring up mentioned in any way shape or form in a job interview and if you do it’s almost cause for instant disqualification from the process. So the first thing.

1. Tell Me About Yourself: When they ask you you to maybe tell me about yourself or in what are some of the things that you’re good at, don’t tell them that year saw a self-starter, or that your your quick learner, or you fax your results oriented any of that stuff now, you do want to say is how you can do those things you want to put in context. So this is like a management position you want to save it in a great leader you want to talk about how you have led people you want to talk about groups of people there teams that you have built and assembled to work on certain projects want talk about how you’ve done it. 

You don’t want to just say that your results oriented. You want to talk about projects that you completed and you finished on time and under budget and you want to talk about the details all the results oriented in the leadership will come out in the context of what you’re saying. Does that make sense so don’t going there in say, results oriented leader put in context for them and show them how you have done this before and then the underlying message will be that hey this person there pretty good results oriented leader me that that’s a label that you get put on after the fact. So just tell them how you have done things not know how you would do them.

2. What You Can Do: lot of  candidates go in and are so desperate to work in a job. They say I’ll do anything, It doesn’t matter what it is I’ll do anything that these are usually people who are not employed right now and you maybe they’ve been out of work for six, nine months, maybe even two years and they were desperate for a job and they will do anything, but if you go into a job interview and you and so you know what I don’t care what is I’ll do it, I’ll do anything just just give it to me. So when you do this, you end up showing a certain level of desperation that this just doesn’t come out very well. You want to go in there you want to go to the interview you want to talk about what you can do when the value can bring and that you are excited to do it.

That’s what you want. You don’t want to just say yeah I’ll do whatever you gotta do it all sweep floors, I don’t care, Now you want to go in there specifically tell them what you want to be doing. You have, you have to hold tight to your values, you have to hold tight to your beliefs and what you want to be doing because if they just give you anything if they just give you any kind of job there in two months you will be happy doing it. I guarantee you and employers know this. They know that if you go in there and sell take whatever you got in the give to you there to three months later you go. I can know what the sex I want to do this anymore and you leave and leave them high and dry. Then they just wasted a whole bunch time and have to go interview somebody else and it costs a lot of money to deal with mid-hires like you, so you go in there. Don’t tell them that you just do anything or you take anything. It just sends a message of desperation. 

3. About Your Company: don’t talk bad about your company, Don’t talk bad about people, don’t say that you didn’t like working there, no matter how it comes up, i mean Maybe you hated working them, maybe you hated your boss, but when they ask you questions and I will did you like working manage like your boss, the answer is yes I did. I liked working for my boss. I like the people, I like the company, I like the culture, I liked everything about. It’s a shame that I have to leave i’m sorry have to leave but I’m looking for greener pastures. Greater opportunity, I’m looking for more responsibility, say any of that except that you didn’t like working  and like what they did or anything like that because if you didn’t like working there you like your boss it will be no time flat that you’ll be saying the same things about them when they hire you your find reasons not to like them.

You find reasons not to like your boss. That’s just the way it goes. People who don’t like where they worked at. It doesn’t take long to not like the new place that’s the way goes that’s human nature, So you don’t want to communicate that to them in the interview. No matter, no matter how it comes out even if they ask you how do you like that company? where you know I got a little and working there anymore. No, like working there you like the people because otherwise you getting your you get labeled this cancer you get labeled as cancerous when you’re the type of person that goes around talking smack about all the people or the company of policies. The things that you don’t like, and companies get rid of people like that. Now I know that’s not you know why no, that’s not you, because you’re here reading this article today and you’re trying to better yourself. People were trying to better themselves. They’re not the cancerous type of people I make sure there might be something about the company that they didn’t like, and it could be a very genuine reason that they didn’t like certain things, just don’t say that in the interview. Do not mention that in any way shape or form. 

4.How To Do This: When they ask you a question and let’s say you know how to do this. Don’t tell them that you don’t know how don’t say to any interviewer that I don’t know how to do that or have never seen that or denied by no idea that’s the worst possible thing you can say, even if it’s the truth. But what you do want to say is you know what anything about that for second and then you think you know which one do you want connected to something that’s similar to what you don’t see so you know what I haven’t done that exact thing, but I don’t something this similar what that does is that shows them that you at least have some level of understanding with the talking about because if you show no level of understanding about the question.  

That’s a big red flag big mark against you, and it’s probably that’s most likely to be a competency question and if you only thing about competency questions. Those are weighted the heaviest soap you miss one or two competency questions that could be yet they can wait you out right there in the interview it can be done just two competency questions one baby get away with but it depends depends on crucial question is because competency questions; a lot of fundamentals and if you don’t know a lot of fundamentals about what you do that says that you don’t know a lot about what you do so. 

Never tell them that you don’t know always try to come close to something connect the dots for them and and maybe leave you need to pull lifeline here and say you know what to think about that for a minute and can we circle back around and there to say yes, but if you pull that lifeline technique too many times, like maybe, maybe more than once or twice. That’s it, you’re done. So you need to give yourself a little bit of time to think about how you can connect your experiences to what they’re talking about and I know you can. 

5. What Is Your Company Do Here: Don’t ask them you know, so what your company does here is the worst thing you can do that shows that you did absolutely no research, no preparation on this company. This division, the Department of projects they’re working on or anything. Don’t ask them what they do here. You should already know that if anything ask them specifics about some of the things that they are doing. But don’t going there blinded and just say well you know what you guys do around here. That sounds interesting.

I think I might like to do that with the worst possible thing you can say that does that shows that you have no level of excitement about this company about what they’re doing. It shows that you put no preparation into the interview you spent no time researching this company or the position just basically says that you know you showed up and maybe you’d like the job doesn’t work that way, it doesn’t work that way out there. There are so many hungry jobseekers out there who want these positions and they are going to beat you over 10 times fold, tenfold. They are going to be so much sharper than you they are going to be on their game they are going to be talking about their experiences about how they relate to the job there been no what that company does, they’re going to know they’re going to have looked it up and you can to serve, take the extra step before your next job interview and spent some time researching the position. 

Gather as much information as you can so that you can go in there now, you can ask them questions that will help qualify you about this job and about this company and if it’s a place that you even want to be if you think about it. That’s really what a job interview is you are out there talking to them and your your interviewing them to your interviewing them to see if this is something that you want to be doing. That’s the whole key to a job  interview.
